Original utility
A live calculator must complete a real user task with defined inputs and results. Unit variants, costs, or packaging outputs stay within one tool when they do not serve a distinct task.
Editorial policy
How tools and explanations are published.
Project Toolbench treats the calculator, formulas, examples, assumptions, sources, and tests as one product. A page is not published only because a keyword exists.
Source selection
Authoritative standards and public institutions are preferred for exact units and technical definitions. Variable supplier or project information remains user-entered when a universal default would be misleading.
Testing and review
Formulas are tested against expected calculations and edge cases. Browser review checks visible content, resource loading, navigation, mobile reflow, errors, canonical URLs, and public status codes.
Corrections
When a calculation, explanation, link, or deployment problem is confirmed, the goal is to correct the cause, repeat affected tests, publish a new version, and retain a rollback path.
Commercial content
The website currently has no advertisements or affiliate links. If commercial relationships are added later, applicable disclosures will be added and commercial terms will not replace formula or safety review.
Dates and changes
Formula or source review dates appear where they add context. Pages may change when a factual correction, source update, product improvement, or policy change is needed; cosmetic date changes are not used to imply freshness.
